Fund Raising

Members of the Society are actively raising funds to assist with creating the allotments at Aldborough Gate. The funds we are raising will assist with the following projects:

                                              * Creating vehicle access from the road to the allotment site

                                              * Providing a water supply to the allotment site

                                              * Installing rabbit proof fencing for the allotments

                                              * Provide an off road parking area for the allotments

                                              * Create haulage ways to ease access to the allotments

                                              * Carry out landscaping and environmental improvements

 There are 2 main sources of "start up" funds:

1.  Internal fund raising - via events and activities carried out by members of the Allotment Society
2. External fund raising - seeking grants from any availble source.

Working groups have been formed to target both sources of funding.

Working Groups

The working groups, in particular the internal fund raising group, needs the support of all members of the Society. If you can provide any assistance with fund raising please contact any member of the committee.
